The Technology Transfer Platform for E-learning (TTPE) project aim to foster and boost the involvement of Mediterranean countries of the e-learning research community by developing a Framework for transferring and exchanging scientific and technological results that have taken place through EU research project in the field of e-learning.
TTPE project will create a community of several Mediterranean actors, in charge of spreading, updating, adopting, and standardize technology results from European research programmes, by means of:
- Development of collaborative environment (E-learning technology transfer platform) that facilitates sustained e-learning technology transfer from the EU, and making best practices evident to the Mediterranean region. The platform will act as a driving tool that creates a virtual shared space, in order to strengthen the interactions of targeted stakeholder of the project broad matchmaking process. This platform will also enable access to open source e-learning tools.
- This platform will be the base for further development work of e-learning technologies that looks at learning from different perspectives: individual learning, group learning, cooperative learning etc.
- Deployment of available e-learning solutions adapted to Mediterranean countries based on existing infrastructure, users , culture and language based that will act as motivating force behind the rapid growth of e-learning in the Mediterranean countries.
- Development of specific e-learning technologies in the Mediterranean region that enables multi-lingual facility.
- Identifying the main collaboration activities based on defining the gap between the current states of art between the e-learning technologies applied within the Mediterranean actors and the European level.
- Enabling cooperation of E-learning researchers and to facilitate the uptake of the results of the research being carried out. This will be done by combining both the approaches of awareness-raising and networking activities.
